The Barkhan case

The incident gained attention after police in Balochistan’s Barkhan district recovered three bullet-riddled bodies of a woman and her two sons from a well.

The slain woman was identified as the wife of a citizen named Khan Muhammad Marri, and the other bodies were identified as her two sons.

According to police, all three victims were killed in the shooting, while the woman’s face was horribly distorted by acid being poured on it.

The bodies, they claimed, were thrown into the well by the killers. According to the victims’ relative, the woman and her sons were allegedly imprisoned in a private jail of a provincial minister, and five more people were still present in the private prison.
