Azam khan becomes approver against Imran Khan in cipher case
Imran Kha is accused of’manipulating’ the communique for political purposes and then failing to return the original paper by a former top official who is now the approver in the cypher case.

On Wednesday, Imran Khna’s former principal secretary Azam Khan testified against him and gave a magistrate a statement on the “cypher” controversy.

According to Azam Khan, Imran intended to use the cypher to fabricate a political narrative that would be directed against both the establishment and his rival political groups.

Imran was ‘euphoric’ when he saw the cypher, according to the written statement that was made public, and he dubbed it a ‘blunder’ by the United States.

According to the statement, Imran intended to use the cypher to fabricate a story about foreign participation in the motion to remove him from office. With local allies, he sought to simulate foreign meddling.

Azam Khan has additionally claimed that Imran Khan ‘lost’ the original cypher after asking him to hand up the cypher in breach of the guidelines. Contrary to custom, it was not returned to the foreign office records.

According to the former secretary, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, who was the foreign minister at the time, initially informed Imran Khan of the cypher. On March 8, the Foreign Secretary handed the cypher to Azam Khan, who then gave it to Imran Khan.

The contents of the cypher, he continued, were first presented to Foreign Office officials at a meeting before being presented to the cabinet.

Azam Khan vanished a few weeks prior. His testimony was reportedly submitted under section 164 of the criminal code, according to sources.
