The director of Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, Ayan Mukerji, has provided an official update on the much-anticipated sequels. Brahmastra: Part Two
Dev and Brahmastra: Part Three will be made in tandem, with both parts arriving sooner than expected. On his Instagram page, Mukerji revealed the tentative release dates for the two sequels. According to the post, Brahmastra Part Two: Dev will be released in December 2026, followed by Brahmastra Part Three in December 2027.
“The time has come – for some Brahmstra Trilogy, Astraverse, and my life updates!” wrote the director in his post. “After absorbing all of the love and feedback on Part One, I’ve been concentrating on developing the vision for Parts Two and Three – which I now know will be bigger and more ambitious than Part One!” We need a little more time to perfect the script for Brahmästra Two and Three!”
Mukerji also stated that he has been working on the vision for both parts of the film and that he is determined to make them larger and more ambitious than Part One. He went on to say that they need a little more time to perfect the scripts for both parts. Mukerji also revealed in the same post that he will be filming Parts Two and Three concurrently.
Mukerji also expressed his excitement about a new film project that he will direct. While he did not reveal any details about the film, he expressed his excitement to take on this challenge and contribute to Indian cinema.
He stated, “An opportunity that both challenges and excites me – one in which I will learn, be inspired, and grow! So I’ve decided to go for it!” After the success of the first installment, which became the biggest Hindi blockbuster of 2022, fans of Brahmastra have been eagerly awaiting the sequels. The anticipation for Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev and Brahmastra: Part Three has only grown since Mukerji announced the release dates.
