ATC sent primary suspect on physical remand in Imran khan attack case

The main suspect in the Imran Khan attack case has been placed on 10-day physical remand by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Gujranwala.

According to information, the main suspect in the Imran Khan attack case, Naveed Meher, was brought before a special court of the ATC Gujranwala. On December 22, the suspect will once more be brought before the court. Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, the leader of the joint investigation team (JIT), was also in the court.

The primary suspect in the attack on Imran case, Naveed Meher, was found to be in possession of a motorcycle, the police informed the court.

Faisal Vawda had already been called in by the joint investigation team (JIT) established to look into the attack on the former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan.

It is important to note that Naveed Meher was apprehended following his November 3 shooting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former prime minister Imran Khan from the crime site at Allahwala Chowk when the group was on a lengthy march. The gun assault incident’s First Information Report (FIR) was filed on November 7. A joint investigative team has been established under the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1997 to look into the attack on the PTI head on November 3.
