Akshay Kumar, the Bollywood action star, has released the poster for his upcoming new film, a Hindi remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru.
He distributed the poster, which depicted his shadow as a plane flew by. As stated in the post’s caption, the Hindi version of the Tamil film has no title as of yet.
“We’re ready to take off!” Production No. 27 (Untitled) will be released in theaters worldwide on September 1st, 2023.”

Sudha Kongara, who also directed the original Soorarai Pottru, will direct the upcoming untitled film. Aruna Bhatia, Jyotika, Suriya, and Vikram Malhotra produced the film. The official poster also revealed that Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal will appear alongside Kumar in the Hindi version.
The Khiladi actor has piqued the interest of fans with this announcement. “I am excited to see Akki and Paresh sir together after 11 years,” one of them said. This alone is reason enough to see this film. BO is unimportant to me; all I want to do is see Akki.”
Meanwhile, while some fans are looking forward to this new film, others are criticizing Akshay for prioritizing quantity over quality. “It’s still quantity over quality,” one social media user wrote.
“Why is Akshay playing it safe?” wrote another. It’s time to make a big-budget film. Farhad Samji will direct Hera Pheri 3, so there is no hope there either. As a result, Akshay is destroying himself. He requires something akin to Sooryavanshi.”
