ACE Punjab launches three inquiries against Farrukh Habib

Farrukh Habib, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), is the subject of three inquiries by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab, which were opened on Friday.

According to sources, Farrukh Habib was contacted by ACE Punjab to look into his alleged participation in three corruption instances. On March 11, 13, and 14, Habib will be required to report to Faisalabad.

The ACE Punjab officials said that Habib “illegally” constructed a gas station on the property of the Railway Department, despite the fact that he was reportedly implicated in corruption in the Department of Parks and Horticulture from 2018 to 2022.

In addition, the ACE sent PTI leader a new summons to appear in order to look into alleged financial irregularities in the building of the two-lane Satiana Road.

The investigation into Muhammad Khan Bhatti, the former Punjab CM’s principal secretary, advanced earlier in the day thanks to the collection of crucial records by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab.

ACE Punjab also acquired pertinent information regarding the benefits given to Muhammad Khan Bhatti. These records included significant records of recruitments, transfers, and postings in the Punjab Legislature according to sources.

Three hours were spent by the ACE team reviewing documents in the Punjab Assembly building.
